Stephen Swieton

Director

Stephen is responsible for the overall supervision and administration of the Residence Life department. Stephen lives on campus and holds a bachelor’s degree in French from Marquette University and a master’s degree in adult and higher education from Northern Illinois University.

Lauren Watson

Assistant Director

Lauren supervises the central office student staff and the Oak Hill Residence desk staff, as well as maintaining student information records. She lives on campus with her dog, Winston. Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in art from Berry College and a master's degree in student affairs administration from Appalachian State University.

Pie Dyson

Community Coordinator

Pie supervises the Ford Complex (Clara, East Mary, and West Mary), the Cottages, Friendship Hall, Pilgrim Hall, and the Oak Hill Residences. She resides on campus with her family. Pie holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from the University of California – Santa Barbara and a master’s degree in higher education from Azusa Pacific University.

SUZANNE ROSE

Community Coordinator

Suzanne supervises Centennial, Deerfield, Morgan, Thomas Berry, and the Townhouses. She lives on campus with her dog. Suzanne holds bachelor’s degrees in art and art education and a master’s degree in higher education student affairs from Western Carolina University.

Anna Grace Trusty Spyers

Community Coordinator

Anna Grace supervises Dana, Morgan Bailey, and Morton-Lemley Halls. She lives on campus with her wife and dogs. Anna Grace holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Berry College and master of social work degree from Simmons University.

Nick Foster

Residence Life Maintenance Technician

Nick serves as a liaison with the Facilities Services Team, as well as managing work orders for the residence halls and maintaining the residential buildings. Nick lives in the Rome area and holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of North Georgia.
