These assessments can provide valuable insight for discussion within academic / career advising appointments.

Handshake - Berry’s new career management system is the #1 way college students in the U.S. find jobs and internships, explore career options, and connect with employers hiring at your school.

  • Appointments for all career related questions, resume critiques, events, mock interview, etc.
  • Faculty/Staff can create their own “student” Handshake account so they are better able to encourage and help their students use the system.

Dr. Phil Gardner, Ph.D, is Director of the Collegiate Employment Research Institute at Michigan State University. His major areas of research include the transition from college to work, early socialization and career progression in the workplace, workforce readiness, and other areas related to college student studies. MSU’s nationally recognized annual college labor market student is done under his direction each fall.
