Berry to host entrepreneurial conference Feb. 9-10

Berry College Student Enterprises invites young entrepreneurs to the annual SPARK Entrepreneurial Conference Friday and Saturday (Feb 9-10.)

Speakers include Will Melson, president of Broadwell Group Consulting Partners. Melson has over 20 years of experience helping companies solve complex problems, has served as interim CEO of several companies and was a captain in the U.S. Army. 

Attendees will also hear from Berry alum Brin Enterkin, founder of the non-profit African SOUP. Enterkin was featured in Forbes 30 under 30 in 2018, for her work in Uganda with the African SOUP. She now serves as the managing director of Watson Institute in Boulder, Colo. 

Students will also hear from the entrepreneurial startup DynamiX CEO Jeff Jahn and Senior Manager of Chick-fil-A Corporate Ryan Bowman as well as UGA Small Business Development Center Director Richard Montanaro. 

Speakers from across the business world will speak about strategic entrepreneurship, social innovation and how to turn ideas into action. This is a unique opportunity for those wanting to network and learn more about entrepreneurialism.
