Berry College hosts program for gifted students

Friday, April 28, is the deadline to register at a discounted price for the summer camp for gifted and talented students hosted by Berry College and Floyd County Schools. 

Viking Explorations will be June 5-9 on Berry’s main campus. Rising 3rd grade through 8th grade students can choose two classes ranging from “Computer Coding” to “CSI Crime Stoppers,” among many others. Faculty from Berry College Elementary and Middle School and gifted/talented endorsed teachers from the Floyd County Schools will teach the classes.  

Registration before April 28 is $110 per student. After April 28 it is $125 and $150 after May 13. The classes will be from 8:30 to 12 p.m. with breaks. To register and to find more information about Viking Explorations, go to http://berry.edu/vikingexplorations/
