Entrepreneurial Conference at Berry slated for Feb. 5-6

Berry College Student Enterprises welcome aspiring entrepreneurs to the annual SPARK Entrepreneurial Conference on Feb. 5-6.

Keynote speaker Karen Houghton, the director of Atlanta Tech Village, will speak at the dinner Feb. 5 in the Ford Dining Hall. Mac Lackey, founder and CEO of KYCK.com, will speak at the Feb. 6 session in Krannert ballroom. The Saturday breakout sessions will include Citizens National Bank President Jack Allen, Woody Anderson Ford owner Cathy Anderson, Berry  Associate Professor of Foreign Language David Slade, Berry Trustee Buster Wright, who is a retired Wells Fargo Advisors regional president; former Peace Corps community economic developer Nai Oo and University of Georgia Innovation Gateway director Derek Eberhart. 

The event is designed for high school and college students, but guests of any age are invited to network, learn, and enjoy the company and speakers from across the business world speaking on strategic entrepreneurship, social innovation and how to turn ideas into action.
